Ali B really seems to have lost all his fans. While Marco Borsato could still count on support from the public gallery during his court days, no fans showed up at all for the rapper…
The appeal against Ali B is in full swing. There is a lot of media attention, but not as much as before. It is also noticeable that the rapper’s fan base seems to have dried up completely, because it was also quiet in the public gallery during the second day of the hearing yesterday. Very very quiet. There were according to The Telegraph only three people present.
Not a fan of Ali
Who are those three people at Ali’s shop? Fans? “It is striking that – compared to Marco Borsato’s case – there are far fewer interested parties in the public gallery. The only three people who attend the case here say they prefer to remain anonymous,” the newspaper said.
“They do indicate that they mainly came ‘because they find it interesting to attend a case that has been talked about a lot in the media.’ They emphasize that they are ‘not a fan of Ali B’.”
Much too late
Even more striking about the second day of the hearing was that Ali arrived much too late. “Ali crossed the threshold at one past nine,” says Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden Show news. “The driver drove the car just short of the entrance, so he hardly had to go through the crowd of press.”
“That is of course his right. But the fact that he arrived late is an insult to the Court. Ali also knows that he can arrive at nine o’clock himself, but that after that the press and the people in the public gallery also have to enter. That all has to be done before the hearing could start.”
9:50 am
What time exactly could Ali’s hearing start? “It was finally ten to ten when we could start, I thought it was remarkable that the Court said nothing about that. You can’t condemn anyone for that, but I can imagine that they find it annoying…”
At the end of the day, Ali appeared to be met in his car by a filming Krista Arriëns (36). She appears to have been following the rapper in this case for years. Has she already found a buyer for her documentary? Not that. “Prime Video is not interested,” says TV authority Tina Nijkamp analysis channel.
After the Ferry Doedens debacle, they apparently look to the left with all those discredited celebrities…
