The THW Kiel narrowly won the small north derby in the handball Bundesliga against HSV Hamburg. Eric Johansson scored a few moments before the final whistle for 38:37 (16:18) for the record champions.
The best Kiel thrower was Emil Madsen with ten goals. Jacob and Leif Tissier were successful for Hamburg six times.
The Hamburgers started on the outer positions with the young players Alexander Hartwig (22 years old) and Levin Unlockn (20). The two youngsters showed no fear of national goalkeeper Andreas Wolff in the THW goal and were involved with a total of five goals that the HSVH was in the lead with 11: 8 in the 15th minute.

Madsen has now taken command among the hosts. The Dane set 35:33 (56th) with two goals in a row. Asat Waliullin equalized eleven seconds before the end to 37:37 for the Hamburgers, but Johansson had the last word.
