Acda revealed this on Monday in a look back at the shows The Coen & Sander Show at JOE.
Acda and de Munnik again in Ziggo Dome in October 2026
‘Paul de Munnik had to save Thomas Acda’
“Well, the bad thing was that I was already sick when we started this. So I was stiff from the pills and the singing lessons,” said Acda, who also shared that he took an hour and a half every day to warm up his vocal cords. “It worked, but Paul occasionally had to save such high notes for me that he became hoarse last night. So we could blindly trust each other, but I don’t think we will speak to each other today. I think we will remain silent.”
Two years ago, Acda & de Munnik announced a comeback and have been back ever since. Last week the duo announced two new concerts for next year in the Ziggo Dome. In the radio program, Acda said that the duo is now back for good, but in a “slightly different version”.
“Last time we got bogged down in a lot of work. And then you were happy when you were on stage, because then no one could tell you what you still had to do. And now it’s like: next year? Fine, four concerts, three concerts. It gives an overview,” says Acda. “It will be more fun.”
