Olcay Gulsen was frequently seen on television at the Oranjezomer in the past period, but that changes. She drops out, just about simultaneously with Johnny de Mol.
Johnny de Mol has a few more broadcasts of the Oranjezomer to go before he can go on holiday this weekend. After the weekend, Thomas van Groningen takes over the baton as Hélène Hendriks-Invaller and moves the talk show to a regular studio in the Media Park in Hilversum. Who we no longer see at the table? Olcay Gulsen.
Olcay traveling
For the time being, Olcay has had enough TV. Johnny notes in the broadcast From last night on: “Olcay, it’s your last tonight.”
She agrees: “Yes, it went pretty fast, right? Yes, I liked it.”
Johnny: “Black hole?”
Olcay: “Well, I’m going on vacation very nice at first and I’m really looking forward to that.”
Nice and quiet
Johnny then points to the massive criticism that Olcay has received recently, including by Johan Derksen – he thinks she should be put out of the Oranjezomer because she has called Wierd Duk a racist – and from Angela de Jong. She thinks Olcay is bad for the viewing figures.
The presenter: “Nice and quiet for you on social media, I think.”
‘Go miss it’
Olcay shrugs for all her critics and angry reactions to social media such as X. “Yes, I’m going to miss it, still. Those comments and those criticisms,” she says sarcastically.
Johnny: “Yes, seriously?”
Finally, Olcay: “No, just kidding.”
