The poke bowl is hot. Not surprising, because this Hawaiian bowl dish is packed with color and vitamins. A poke bowl usually contains sticky rice, various vegetables and meat or fish, but there is also a vegetarian variant: the buddhabowl. You can order one at the following restaurants in Zoetermeer. Hawaiian Poké Bowl

Hawaiian Poké Bowl has been available at Promenade 27 in the Stadshart for a year now. And Zoetermeer residents are happy with that, because on Google the restaurant gets no less than 4.8 stars based on almost a thousand reviews! Are you going for the spicy chicken with avocado, feta cheese, nachos and jalapeños? Or maybe the Japanese tofu with edamame beans, seaweed and sesame dressing?

Poke2go

Poké2go at Newtonstraat 43 is the king of pokébowls in Zoetermeer. While Pokébowls are often seen as decorations on menus these days, Poké2go specializes in this Hawaiian dish. Such a bowl of rice comes in all shapes and sizes. From salmon with citrus, sweet tuna or crispy chicken to tempe, tamago or tofu. Can’t figure it out? Then you can put one together yourself.

Soyami

Soyami is a relatively new addition to the Stadshart, at Het Rond 55B. The display cases are full of fresh ingredients that the sushi chefs mainly use rolls to experience. But there are also poke bowls on the menu. You can choose from a bowl of chicken, fried shrimp, salmon or vegetables.

Wokamor

Wokamor at Westerschelde 280 started out as a wok restaurant, but soon expanded the menu with popular dishes such as sushi. And of course poke bowls. The options are salmon, tuna, fried tofu, shrimp, crispy chicken or tamago. Apparently they are well received, because this Japanese tent gets 4.5 stars on Google Reviews. So try!

M.R. Xi

MR Xi Asian Bistro at Oostkomst 25 is one of the many all-you-can-eat restaurants in Zoetermeer, but you can also place orders there. Poké bowls with meat, fish or vegetables are on the menu as usual. Can’t choose? Then go for the Poké MR Xi: a mix of all those goodies. Mmm.

Yuniku

Yuniku is also an all-you-can-eat that delivers meals to your home – from Promenade 19. Besides a lot of sushi and sashimi, Yuniki has five types of poke bowls: yakitori chicken, tofu, salmon, tuna and a mix of salmon and tuna. According to the reviews on Thuisbezorgd, they are easy to chop.

SushiPoint

The Dutch sushi chain SushiPoint is also located in Zoetermeer, at Van Leeuwenhoeklaan 6A. There are six types of poke bowls on the map. In addition to the usual bowl with salmon, fish or chicken, SushiPoint also makes a vegan variant with fried lemon and a vegetarian variant with mango. Mmm!

Eazie

For a richly filled Pokébowl, Eazie is a favorite among Zoetermeer residents. This wok chain has branches in the Stadshart (Burgemeester Wegstapplein 50) and at Oranjelaan 1A. I Love Sushi

I Love Sushi at Van Stolberglaan 27 has been a success from the start. During the opening a few years ago, there were lines for the new sushi bar. That is not surprising, because the various sushi boxes and poke bowls are relatively cheap. In addition to the usual variants, you can order the dish here with grilled crab or eel. There is also a nice vegetarian option with tamago, seaweed and tofu. Enjoy!
