Christian Madden reports on the tour: How the Gallagher brothers get along, which show was the best and whether there will be new concerts in 2026.
In August 2024, the good news came for fans: Oasis are returning to the world’s stages with the “Live 25” tour – almost 16 years after the brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher fell out. Tens of music fans were thrilled and the tickets for the concert series sold out in just a few minutes. The Britpop band played a total of 41 shows around the world this year. But have the brothers really reconciled? Did they get along? And will there be a continuation of the tour in 2026?
Now Christian Madden, who was there live as keyboardist and experienced the dynamics of the Gallagher brothers up close, shared his experiences about the tour and answered frequently asked questions from fans on his “Substack” account.
How do the brothers really get along?
The question that is probably most interesting for all fans: What is the relationship between the Gallagher siblings? Did they really reconcile and did they get along well throughout the tour? Christian Madden can probably say yes. On “Substack” was how the keyboardist described it: These were probably two people who had a warm relationship with each other after forgiving each other in order to move forward together. What the public saw was real. The entire tour was an unforgettable experience.
Madden also emphasized that every single show was special and unique. The concerts in South America particularly stood out for the musician. The UK band allegedly found the best crowd in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The feedback there was incredible, Madden continued via “Substack”.
Will there be more Oasis concerts in 2026?
Since the end of the tour, there has been speculation as to whether there will be further concerts by the band in 2026. Christian Madden also has something to say about this – but he doesn’t know of any concrete plans.
Fans worldwide are now eagerly awaiting Oasis’ next move after it was revealed that the tour was already in pre-production 14 months before it was announced and that they are now taking a break to reflect.
