Shakira has been working in the music business for over 30 years and in these three decades as a singer and songwriter has released twelve studio albums under various labels and in different languages - primarily Spanish and English. This also includes the works “Pies Descalzos”, “Fijación Oral, Vol. 1” and “Fijación Oral, Vol. 2”. These will celebrate their twentieth or thirtieth anniversary in 2025 and will be re-released as limited vinyl editions to mark the occasion. ROLLING STONE is giving away three copies of each album.
“Pies Descalzos” and international success
The third studio album “Pies Descalzos”, which the artist released in 1995, brought the Colombian international success. The record offers a mix of pop-rock rhythms and Latin American influences. For its 30th anniversary, “Pies Descalzos” is available as a reissue on bright yellow vinyl with red marble swirls – from December 14, 2025.
“Fijación Oral, Vol. 1” – first part in Spanish
In 2005 the sixth LP “Fijación Oral, Vol. 1” was released. The release is considered a counterpart to the English-language LP entitled “Oral Fixation, Vol. 2”. For the 20th anniversary, “Fijación Oral, Vol. 1” is available as a limited edition on apple red vinyl.
“Oral Fixation, Vol. 2” – second part in English
The follow-up and sister album “Oral Fixation, Vol. 2” marks their second English-language release. The record contains the artist’s most successful song to date: “Hips Don’t Lie (feat. Wyclef Jean)”. Other tracks on the release include “Don’t Bother”, “Illegal (feat. Carlos Santana)” and an alternative version of “La Tortura (feat. Alejandro Sanz)”. This anniversary edition is expanded with three bonus remixes. For its 20th anniversary, the LP has been re-released in a special edition on beige vinyl.
