NS starts a trial: a thousand people with low incomes will receive a free train pass from July 1

A thousand low-income residents of Amersfoort can travel by train for free for six months from July 1. They receive a special Vooruit pass for this. With the test, NS wants to investigate how and how often social workers use the train. The ultimate goal: a cheap or free train pass in many more cities and even throughout the Netherlands.
