Nottingham Forest has strengthened its squad this summer for 73 million euros – FC Bayern has also been handing over so much. In the Premier League, these editions are part of the lower quarter and coach Nuno Espírito Santo, the alarm. “We are very far back in terms of preparation, planning and the squad,” he is quoted by “Sky Sports”.

The club is working on the obligations of Omari Hutchinson, who is to come from second division Ipich for 43 million euros, to Arnaud Kalimuendo from Stade Rennes and Manchester Citys James Mcatee. The latter will cost up to 35 million euros including bonuses. “We are very far – very, very far – from where we should be,” says Nuno dissatisfied.

“Preparation in relation to the squad was not ideal.” His team comprises 28 professionals and including some string candidates. “We have players here who know that they are borrowed. We have a big problem.” Ten professionals left the club and washed 119 million euros into the coffers.

With the planned new additions that should cost more than 100 million euros, the offensive Nottinghams will receive a new coat of paint. “We had no opportunity to establish a connection – and I think that’s the most important thing. Because we don’t know what our squad will look like,” says Nuno. To date, right -wing Dan Ndoye has come from FC Bologna and center forward Igor Jesus and central defender Jair Cunha for a total of 31 million euros from Botafogo from Brazil. The goalkeeper team was reinforced by the second division team Norwich with the transfer -free Angus Gunn.

Nuno’s conclusion of the first six weeks of the summer transfer window is: “The plans we had did not work.” Nottingham ended the past season in a strong 7th place and even had the chance to qualify for the Champions League on the last match day. A 0: 1 against Chelsea destroyed this dream. With a squad value of currently EUR 446 million, Forest ranks 11th in a league-internal comparison-this will increase significantly in the next two weeks.
