Julian Weigl will apparently leave Borussia Mönchengladbach. The midfielder is not in the Fohlen squad at the Bundesliga opening against Hamburger SV because he was released for discussions with another club.

During the week, sports director Roland Virkus had emphasized at the “Rheinische Fußball summit” of the “Rheinische Post”: “We don’t want to hand in Julian. I know that there are rumors.
