After manipulation scandal: Norway’s sports director resigns

Norway’s ski jumpers were disqualified at the Ski World Cup due to manipulated suits. Now the sports director is admitted and draws consequences.
Norway’s ski jumping team deliberately cheated at the World Cup in Trondheim. Sports director Jan Erik Aalbu confessed to this at a press conference in the team hotel on Sunday. The manipulation of the suits was carried out without consultation with the jumpers.
Aalbu did not want to name the names of those responsible. Head coach Magnus Brevig, who was seen in the manipulation video, was missing from the press conference.
