In the European Championship Qualifiers Group C, Italy hosted North Macedonia away.
The match played at Toshe Proeski Arena ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the match whose first half ended goalless, Italy took the lead with Immobile’s goal in the 47th minute. Although Italy was the superior side in the game, North Macedonia equalized the match with a wonderful free-kick goal by Trabzonspor’s Enis Bardhi in the 81st minute and managed to get a point from its strong opponent.
With this result, Italy increased to 4 points after the 3rd match, while North Macedonia increased its points to 4 after the 4th match.
Italy will play its next match against Ukraine at home on Tuesday, while North Macedonia will host Malta on the same day.
