Nora Kulling becomes Vice President Marketing

Leipzig-based e-commerce specialist Spread Group has appointed Nora Kulling to the role of Vice President Marketing.

From now on, Kullig will lead the marketing strategy and the brand-building process as well as the establishment of specialized marketing teams, the e-commerce specialist announced on Wednesday. She has been working for the Spread Group since March and accompanied the launch of the company’s fashion brand.

The marketing expert clearly defines her role in the Spread Group, because “brands without a clear positioning are punished by consumers,” according to the statement. It is therefore more important than ever to produce relevant content in order to get closer to the target group and to establish a connection to the brand. According to Kullig, the days of scaling via pure performance marketing are over.

“Creative marketing concepts are important success factors to strengthen and expand our global presence,” says Spread Group CEO Julian de Grahl. “This includes in particular the strengthening of the content strategy and the development of branding and social media competence. We are therefore looking forward to Nora’s fresh perspective and expertise.”

Before moving to the Spred Group, the marketing specialist held various management roles at different companies. In total, she worked for the online optician Mister Spex for almost eight years, where she most recently held the title of Head of Brand Management.
