Noa Lang returns to PSV for important weeks, Veerman in doubt

There are eight very important days on the program for PSV. Three top matches against FC Twente, Sevilla and Feyenoord. Everyone seems to be fit on time among the people of Eindhoven. Trendsetter Noa Lang has fully recovered and long-term injured are also returning. Only Joey Veerman is a question mark for the match against FC Twente.

FC Twente has not lost at home for 27 games in a row. PSV hopes to change that on Saturday evening when they visit Enschede. “There is a lot at stake,” Peter Bosz looked ahead.

In eight days, PSV can take a giant step towards a championship and even ensure wintering in the Champions League. But for the trainer, only Twente-uit counts for the time being.

“Noa Lang is one hundred percent fit.”

“What awaits us is beautiful, interesting and wonderful. FC Twente is the next challenge. Feyenoord did not win there either, we looked at that.”

What the trainer notices is that Saturday evening’s opponent often scores early in the match. “We warned our players about that.”

Peter Bosz had the first windfalls to report on Friday afternoon. “Noa Lang is one hundred percent fit. He can start on Saturday evening.” Mauro Júnior and Armando Obispo also played 90 minutes in practice matches. They were out of action for months.

“These are difficult but nice decisions.”

As a result, PSV has a fully fit selection, although there is still one doubtful case. “Joey Veerman did not train on Thursday. He will have to train on Friday, otherwise I won’t take him with me on Saturday.” The trainer could not yet say whether the midfielder will train on Friday afternoon.

Peter Bosz will therefore have to make tough choices again with a fit selection. “These are difficult decisions, but as crazy as that sounds, they are also nice decisions. These are cool matches coming up. Everyone wants to be there. You would rather have that than not being able to make choices.”
