No trains run between Hoorn and Heerhugowaard. The outage is expected to last until 00:30 on Friday. This is due to a defective overhead line, the NS reports. An adjusted timetable currently applies.
The cause of the outage is currently under investigation. Buses have been used as alternative transport between Hoorn, Obdam and Heerhugowaard.
