Nina Tapio, who is familiar with the magic mirror band, tells about a nasty encounter after her gig. The singer has posted a video on his own Instagram account.
– There was a lot of people and people sang with enthusiasm, and crazy at all. I had a really good feeling and then I got a lot of thanks after the show, Tapio says in the video.
– One person wanted to comment. Didn’t say anything about the gig, but then just commented, “You’re not so small anymore. You are a big girl nowadays.”

Tapio says he has been paralyzed in the situation.
– My understanding is not at all why someone comments on the appearance of another.
– It is a pity that at that moment I couldn’t open a verbal coffin and say to him, “You don’t necessarily hear so beautiful that look in the mirror.”
Finally, the singer reminds us that the public in public is not a public game. Tapio’s upgrade has sparked a lot of debate.

Favorite band
Last spring, it was 30 years since the magic mirror was established. In addition to Tapio, the band was influenced by the late Hanna-Riikka Siitonen, who died in the summer of 2018. Losing a friend and a colleague was a tough piece of Tapio. Many common moments have come to my mind.
– We always watch each other’s back. For example, if we had to walk through the audience after leaving the stage, we made sure we went together. If one was asked for a nymph, the other was waiting, Tapio recalled to Iltalehti in March 2024.
