Daughter Freja was born on March 15, 2017 and Jansen got it together with her husband Hannes Van Dahl, who is a drummer in the Swedish band Sabaton.
Jansen participated in the TV program in 2019 Dear Singers and has since been working solo in addition to her Nightwish career. For example, she played at Pinkpop and in 2021 she also performed in AFAS Live.
