The former German junior international is contractually bound to Munich, where he was only used in the second team, until 2023, so a fee for the left foot is due. This should be in the mid-six-digit range. It will be the second time that a club has taken money for a commitment from Kühn. In 2018, Ajax Amsterdam paid RB Leipzig 2 million euros for the services of the then 18-year-old, who was only active in the youth team of the “Red Bulls”. Thanks to this move, Kühn is one of the most expensive German U18 transfers in history.

For Rapid, Kühn, who was awarded the Fritz Walter Gold Medal in 2019, reportedly canceled other interested clubs such as Darmstadt 98, FC St. Pauli and Hannover 96. At the club from the Austrian capital, the right winger is considered a dream player and should replace Kelvin Arase (23), who is moving to Karlsruher SC.
