Woltemade and Bavaria – now Stuttgart speaks

Nick Woltemade is courted by FC Bayern. But does the striker actually go to Munich? In Stuttgart you have a clear opinion.
VfB Stuttgart has set a clear sign in the struggle around Nick Woltemade. Sports board member Fabian Wohlgemuth made it clear in conversation with the “Bild”: “We are planning firmly with Nick and want to benefit from his sporting qualities in the coming year. There is no alternative planning scenario.” The path of the 23-year-old striker at VfB was “far from over”.
Media, such as “Bild” and Sky, had previously reported that FC Bayern had already agreed on a contract until 2030 with Woltemade. Now the German champion is supposed to join VfB in discussions about a possible change. In Stuttgart, Woltemade is contractually bound until summer 2028.
Bavaria’s club president Herbert Hainer recently commented on the speculation. “He plays a very, very good season. But whether it plays for Bavaria is in the stars,” said Hainer on the edge of the basketball final of his Munich team against Ratiopharm Ulm.
