Negotiations to switch from Nick Woltemade to FC Bayern have so far been difficult. Because VfB Stuttgart, Woltemades Club, has no interest in a sale. The Swabians even rejected an offer of over 55 million euros. Only if an association offers “something extraordinary”, you would sit down at a table, explained sports director Alexander Wehrle. Then you are “professional enough” to get into the negotiations.
This is apparently displeased by Danny Bachmann, the consultant Nick Woltemades. “If a Bundesliga record offer of 55 million euros is not even enough for a common personal meeting, the question arises as to what VfB actually thinks is unusual. It was not foreseeable,” he told the German Press Agency.
According to media reports, the last offer is said to have amounted to a transfer fee of 50 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonus payments. In addition, the offer is said to have contained a ten percent resale clause. It is questionable whether those responsible for the record champions, as the Munich “evening newspaper” reports, are actually preparing a third offer. According to the report, it should be in the range of more than 60 million euros.
According to media reports, Woltemade and FC Bayern have been in agreement for weeks. A few days before the final of the U21 European Championship, both parties are said to have reached an agreement in the question of the right salary and the contract length. Woltemade should sign in Munich by 2030. But: For a change, an agreement between the clubs is also needed. And so far it is not in sight.
