Film director Rob Reiner and his spouse Michele Reiner was found dead in his home in Los Angeles in mid-December.
Their 32-year-old son Nick is accused of the crime.

Nick Reiner is known to have suffered from both mental health and substance abuse issues, and has been in psychiatric treatment for his mental health issues.
According to the TMZ website, Nick Reiner suffers from schizophrenia, which he was diagnosed with in 2020.
Rob Reiner was the director and actor. His directing credits include films such as: The Princess Robbery (1987), Stand by Me – Last Summer (1986), When Harry Met Sally (1989) and Hey, we rock! (This Is Spinal Tap, 1984).
Reiner is also remembered for his role Family is the worst in the series, where he played the character of Michael Stivic. The character was also known as “Läskipää”.
