Nice milestone for Micky van de Ven: defender in pre-selection Orange

Micky van de Ven was first called up for the Dutch national team. National coach Ronald Koeman has reserved a spot for him in his 29-man pre-selection. Former AZ player Tijjani Reijnders is also among them.

The 22-year-old Van de Ven recently became the most expensive North Hollander of all time after the switch from Wolfsburg to Tottenham Hotspur. He was recruited for 50 million euros. National coach Koeman has called up two Ajax players, Steven Bergwijn and Brian Brobbey, and no AZ players. Only former AZ player Tijjani Reijnders.
