The San Francisco 49ers won the California duel against the Los Angeles Rams in the National Football League (NFL).
The five-time Super Bowl champion prevailed at the Disivion rival with 26:23 after extra time and added the first home bankruptcy to the RAMs. Despite the failure of Quarterback Brock Purdy (toe injury), the 49ers take the leader of 4: 1 course on the play-offs, the RAMs are now three wins and two defeats.
Three Touchdown passes von Stafford is not enough to win
In the extension, the defense from San Francisco only took the opposing offense off the field with an outstanding yard before Eddy Piñeiro from 41 yards with his fourth field goal of the game made the victory perfect.
Replacement quartersback Mac Jones stayed without interception and achieved 342 yards with 33 passes arrived, of which two led to touchdowns. In the absence of numerous regular receivers, Kendrick Bourne also convinced with ten captured passes over 142 yards. For the first time, the Rams made two fumbles under Head Coach Sean McVay, i.e. ball losses when wearing the ball, shortly before the end zone. That is why Matthew Stafford’s three touchdown passes were not enough for the first success of the season within their own division.
