The NFL has spoken out for excitement for the appearance of quarterback legend Tom Brady at the Monday Night Game of the Las Vegas Raiders against the Los Angeles Chargers.
As the NFL announced in a statement on Tuesday, Brady did not violate any rules when he was sitting in the team’s coaches box during the Raiders 9:20 bankruptcy of the Raiders.
The NFL explained that Brady, who is a minority owner of the Raiders, was not entitled to enter the team buildings of the other 31 teams for training or production meetings as a TV expert at Fox Sports, but he could very well sit in the coaches box.
According to the NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, there is “no regulations that prohibit a team owner to sit in the coaching cabin during a game or to wear a headset.” McCarthy added: “Brady sat in the cabin in his function as a partner.”
