From his point of view, top star Neymar has put an end to speculation about his sporting future at Paris St. Germain for the time being.
“I want to stay at the club. Up until this moment, the club haven’t talked to me about a move, so I don’t know what their plans are with me. But I don’t have to prove anything to anyone,” explained the Brazilian.
The superstar opened up about his personal situation following the French champions’ 3-0 win over Urawa Red Diamonds in a friendly in front of 61,000 spectators in Tokyo. The 30-year-old’s contract with PSG runs until 2025. The new sporting leadership with director Luis Campos and coach Christophe Galtier had recently expressed reservations about Neymar’s future.
