The German basketball champion Bayern Munich received a damper in the narrow race for the playoffs in the European Cup.
The team of ex-national coach Gordon Herbert lost to Anadolu Efes Istanbul on the 29th matchday of the Euroleague in its own hall. It was only on Tuesday that Bayern played the lead in the Bundesliga with a narrow defeat at the Bamberg Baskets (68:69).
