NEWS grants a scholarship to study journalism at the University of the South of Buenos Aires

On the occasion of the opening of the Universidad del Sur de Buenos Aires (USBA), an institution dependent on Editorial Perfil. NEWS invites you to participate in its scholarship to study the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Journalism for free.

The award consists of obtaining a full scholarship for one year or half a scholarship for the four years of the degree. Anyone over 18 years of age who has completed secondary education may participate in the contest.

  • A personal cover letter explaining why you should win the scholarship Profile
  • An academic or work reference contact

All people will have the opportunity to send the documentation until Thursday, February 29 included and will be able to participate in informative talks via Zoom, on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

All the details about the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Journalism (H2)

The Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Journalism lasts four years, with an intermediate degree as a Higher Technician in Communication and Journalism. By studying at USBA you will be able to:

  • Work in different graphic, audiovisual and digital journalistic media;
  • Carry out journalistic production and management tasks;
  • Plan layout, programming and journalistic analysis tools;
  • Create and analyze journalistic messages;
  • Self-manage professional communication and journalism projects;
  • Carry out consultancies in all journalistic specialties;
  • Develop professional services in press and dissemination campaigns;
  • Carry out consulting and media monitoring;
  • Perform traditional teaching and research tasks;
  • Advise in areas of institutional communication and public relations to companies and public and private entities.
