Dortmund claimed a tasty and semi-obligatory pot from Newcastle in the third round of the Champions League group stage.

At the end of the opening half, after a break in the center circle, Dortmund sneaked into a superior attack, which ended by Nico Schlotterbeck for serving and Felix Nmechan for finishing.

The home crowd was thirsty for an equaliser, but ended up suffering when the ball crashed twice into the top tube of the Dortmund goal in the last moments.

– We didn’t deserve to lose, Newcastle manager Eddie Howe reported to TNT Sports.

– Tactically they were good and caused us problems in midfield. In the second half we were much better, but unfortunately the ball didn’t go into the goal.

Dortmund went level on points with Newcastle.

In the second match of Group F, Paris Saint-Germain beat AC Milan Kylian Mbappe’s, Randal Kolo Muanin and Lee Kang-in with hits.

PSG topped the group with a two-point gap to Dortmund and Newcastle. Milan swore jumbo.

The group stage is halfway through.

The next matches will be played in two weeks.
