The clothing provider New York expanded his collaboration with the men’s Bundesliga club Basketball Löwen Braunschweig last December. As part of the new agreement, the cooperation will be extended by two years and expanded into a premium partnership, the company based in Braunschweig announced on Thursday.
New Yorker now receives “an advertising space on the jersey and numerous activation measures”. The deepening of the collaboration with the team, which was able to achieve the playoff quarter-finals of the basketball Bundesliga this year, is “a strong signal for continuity, trust and common goals,” said the clothing provider.

Jonas Gnauck, the managing director of New York, praised the expansion of the partnership. “Since our return at the end of last year, we have been able to accompany the very successful structural and sporty development of basketball lions,” he said in a statement. “Reaching the playoffs is a great success that the entire team worked for months with strong performances.”
After “trusting and appreciative discussions with those responsible for the lions”, the company is now pleased to “be able to announce the extension and expansion of our commitment,” says Gnauck. “For us, the partnership with the basketball lion is more than a sponsorship – it is a real commitment to the region and sport.”
