The new seasons of the talk shows On 1 on NPO 1 and Humberto on RTL 4 started on Monday with almost the same number of viewers. 669,000 and 630,000 people respectively tuned in to the programs, Stichting KijkOnderzoek reports.
Both talk shows lose out to Today Inside, which started earlier and returned to TV last week. The SBS6 program was good for 887,000 viewers on Monday. news hour, that Pieter Omtzigt had as a guest, scored 608,000 viewers on NPO 2 at the same time.
On primetime, again by far the most audience was in favour The smartest person. The popular NPO 1 quiz scored 1.8 million viewers on Monday. B&B Full of Love (RTL 4) was the only other program with 1.1 million people above the million mark. Viewers saw Dark clouds over the B&Bs in France and Portugal at the start of the B&B full of love finals week. Two potential love partners had to pack their bags, but they did not without a fight. Alexandra in particular expressed her frustrations fiercely after being told by Walter that there was no love match in it.
On SBS6 achieved a repeat of The Coppens Code 240,000 viewers. NPO 3 scored a lot better with the live registration of the World Athletics Championships: 516,000 viewers.
