Rejection to Barcelona
Al-Nassr FC appear to have secured their first signing for next season. The club around superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (38), who is said to be about to transfer Hakim Ziyech (30) from Chelsea, has agreed with Inter Milan to move Marcelo Brozovic. The Italian reports “Sky” reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.
Accordingly, the two clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of 23 million euros, and the deal should finally go through on Monday. Brozovic leaves the Nerazzurri after seven years, five titles and 330 games (18 goals, 30 assists). After Edin Dzeko (37; Fenerbahce) and Milan Skriniar (28; probably to PSG), the Croatian is the third top performer in recent years to leave Inter this summer.
Ronaldo (still) on top: Most valuable players in the Saudi Pro League
For Brozovic, the move to Al-Nassr is financially lucrative, in addition to the opportunity to be on the pitch with Ronaldo. The three-year deal is expected to bring the 30-year-old around €20m per season, compared to around €12m in Milan.

With the decision to move to Saudi Arabia, Brozovic, who captained Inter in the Champions League final against Manchester City (0-1) on the field, is rejecting FC Barcelona. The Catalans had also sought the services of the right foot. With Ilkay Gündogan (32), another player is about to move to Blaugrana for the same position.
