The Italian outdoor shoe brand AKU presented its new partnership with the Association of German Berg- und Skiführer EV (VDBS) on Thursday. As part of the official cooperation, the label will now equip the teaching teams of the mountain and hiking guides: equip in the inside with various shoe models.
From the coming year, “jointly tested products with a special VDBS label will be available in stores,” said AKU. The “common PR activities” of the two partners are also planned.
Helge Frericksen, the sales manager Germany & Austria at AKU, welcomed the cooperation: “The hiking and mountain guides: Inside the VDBS are ideal for us: They place the same high demands on their equipment as they do in their training and work on the mountain- with professionalism, passion and innovation spirit,” he said in a statement.
