Asos has appointed Sean Glithero as its new interim CFO.
He will assume his new position in May when current interim CFO Katy Mecklenburgh leaves the online retailer, Asos announced on Friday. He is already with the company to ensure a “thorough handover”. Asos is still looking for a CFO.
Glithero has a career in finance spanning almost 30 years and also brings experience from fashion and online companies. Most recently, he was CFO at Matchesfashion until April 2022. Dave Murray, who came to the British luxury fashion retailer from Farfetch, took over for him.
Just a few days ago, Matchesfashion brought its new Executive Creative Director from Asos. John Mooney is now responsible for the company’s “all creative work”.
