Carsten Richter has been appointed to the role of Managing Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) at Geox.
Richter has been working for the Italian shoe supplier since the beginning of the month, Geox announced on Thursday. He comes from the US clothing supplier PVH Corp, where he has held various management positions since 2008. For the past 15 years, he was responsible for the West region – DACH and European Economic Community (EEC) – and headed the Footwear division in Düsseldorf for the PVH brands Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Jeans, Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans.
Geox is convinced that with Richter the shoe brand has the ideal conditions to successfully expand and advance its strategically important markets in the DACH region.
