Ozan Akcay returns to Voo Store as CEO.
Akcay served as General Manager at Voo Store until mid-2024. He is now taking on the role of CEO at the Berlin fashion retailer, as Akcay announced on Monday on the career network Linkedin.
“These are troubling times for multi-brand retail, but we are more than confident that we can once again prove that Voo is among the pioneers and trailblazers of this industry,” Akcay said in the post. “There are exciting changes ahead.”
He first joined Voo Store in September 2020 as a Marketing Manager and Sneaker Buyer. Around a year later, he took on the role of general manager. After leaving the Voo Store, Akcay became self-employed and founded the brand development company s246, for which he is still active as a co-founder. Before his time at the fashion retailer, he worked for the US sportswear retailer Nike as NBHD Sales Executive in Turkey.
