Never-before-seen photos of Princess Diana

Photos taken of the royal family from 1982 will be auctioned in March.

Although Princess Diana was probably the most photographed woman of her time, there are also shots of her that have not been seen in public. The British newspaper Mirror has obtained photos of the beloved princess, which have not been published before.

The photos are from 1982, when Diana and the current King Charles’ firstborn, Prince William, was a few months old.

The shots show family happiness, which is not necessarily the first word that would have been used to describe the union of Diana and Charles.

Charles, who is smiling widely in the photos, holds his son in his arms. Diana also hugs her little baby lovingly. The whole family is also immortalized in pictures.

A total of 22 previously unseen pictures have now been published. The pictures also feature the queen, among others Elizabeth, who is seen in a more casual outfit than usual. The world’s longest-reigning monarch died in September 2022 at the age of 96.

The photos have been described as giving an intimate glimpse into the everyday life of the royals. The photos of the royals in question will be auctioned in Britain in March.

The leader of the Willingham Auction expects that the price of the rare pictures will rise to tens of thousands of euros. Proceeds will be donated to charities supported by Diana.

In January, another one of Diana’s iconic outfits was auctioned.
