Mayor Schuurmans of Haarlemmermeer had a business space closed in Beinsdorp, because a large batch of hard drugs was recently found there. It concerns 250 kilos of ketamine, an anesthetic that is increasingly used as a party drug because of the side effects.
It was found in a warehouse in the yard of the Hillegommerdijk 494, a business place. The municipality is afraid that the location will have a suction effect on criminals. “The presence of 250 kilos of ketamine can lead to violence. With the closure of this shed I want risks for the other companies and entrepreneurs here.”
