NATO exercise in Leeuwarden is a reunion of very best kites in the world: ‘Show muscle balls’

From tomorrow, Leeuwarden Air Base and Dutch airspace will be the spectacular backdrop for a large-scale NATO exercise for almost two weeks. Sixteen countries are participating in operation ‘Ramstein Flag’, organized by the Dutch Air Force, with 120 aircraft at the height. “We want to show our muscles.”
