There will be a national resilience training (NWT) for students in secondary vocational education. This offers the training at the latest in 2026 as an optional part. Defense and 21 Regional Training Centers where the Safety and Craftsmanship course (VEVA) can be followed.

National resilience training is a military training of 10 weeks. Every student can follow this later and will be a reservist at the Ministry of Defense.

The training focuses on military skills, personal growth and strengthening mental and physical resilience.

As a NWT reserve, the student contributes to social resilience and military readiness. A military minor had already been introduced with the HBO institutions in the spring.
