Buse Naz Çakıroğlu advanced to the semi-finals in the women’s boxing branch of the 3rd European Games held in Poland, securing the medal and getting the right to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The quarter-finals continue in the boxing competitions held at the Nowy Targ Arena in Nowy Targ.
Olympic runner-up, European and world champion national boxer Buse Naz Çakıroğlu faced Natalia Rok from Poland in the quarter-finals of 50 kg. The national boxer, who easily defeated his opponent, made his name in the semi-finals. Buse Naz Çakıroğlu both secured a medal and got the ticket to 2024 Paris.
In the men’s quarter-finals, Bilge Kağan Kanlı lost to Sofiane Oumiha from France in 63.5 kg and Berat Acar was eliminated in 92 kg by Aziz Abbes from Italy.
