Nagelsmann nominates four Stuttgart players for the national team

Stuttgart’s soaring heights in the Bundesliga have not gone unnoticed by the national coach. After Chris Führich, he should now bring three more VfB players into the DFB team.

After flying high in the Bundesliga, a quartet from VfB Stuttgart can apparently also prove themselves in the national team. As the pay TV broadcaster Sky reported on Monday without citing the source, Waldemar Anton, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Deniz Undav are for the first time part of the DFB squad for the European Championship test internationals on March 23rd in Lille against France and three days later in Frankfurt against the Netherlands (you can follow both games in the live ticker on t-online).

Chris Führich, who made his international debut in October, should therefore be called up again.

Kroos back in the DFB team

National coach Julian Nagelsmann nominates his squad for the two classics on Thursday (2 p.m.) in Frankfurt. After the disappointments in November in the 2:3 against Turkey and 0:2 in Austria, the 36-year-old recently announced serious personnel measures.

One of them is the already announced reactivation of Toni Kroos (34) three years after his resignation from the national team.
