In the investigation into the murder of Peter van Dongen (68) from Breda, the police are investigating the Margriet agricultural area and a pond in Helvoirt on Sunday afternoon. This happens four days after the arrest of a fourth suspect (18) in this case.
This suspect, arrested on Wednesday, has been interrogated several times by the police in recent days. He is currently searching with a team of forensic specialists for traces that can be linked to this case.
Two men (20 and 24) from Waalwijk and a 37-year-old man from Waspik were previously arrested in the case. They are no longer in custody, but are still suspects.

68-year-old Van Dongen was found seriously injured on a forest path in the countryside of Helvoirt on May 20 last year. He died from his injuries a week later. It turned out he had been shot.
What preceded Van Dongen’s death is still a mystery.
