Municipal taxes will change in 2024: Zoetermeer residents will pay this

Real estate tax 2024 in Zoetermeer

Real estate tax (OZB) will rise by an average of 5.5 percent in the Netherlands next year. That is more than last year. Strikingly enough, Zoetermeer residents will actually pay less property tax this year compared to most municipalities in the country. Residents in Zoetermeer will pay an average of 26 euros less per household, in contrast to the Gelderland municipality of Renkum, where residents will spend 90 euros more per household in property tax this year.

Waste and sewerage tax 2024 in Zoetermeer

Whether it is paper, plastic or vegetable, fruit and garden waste, waste is processed every day in Zoetermeer. As residents, we pay a one-off amount for this every year in the form of a waste tax.
