Sculpted design, a refined electronic interface and a lot of sportiness in 472 cm in length: a preview on the future of the Spanish brand

A showcar It can also be called concept, but in the acronyms the idea of ​​the provisional and attempt remains in the acronyms. From a prototype like Cupra Tintdaya Instead, the message of a research already done around the design concepts, to a new internal use interface and even the choice of any new engines arrives. At stake is the future of the Cupra brand, independent of 2018 on a road that led him to give himself the role as a true market outsider. Tinder takes its name from a volcanic mountain on the island of Fuerteventura, but above all photographs an even more decisive orientation towards geometric and muscular shapes, with materials used for the first time in the automotive world.

Strong proportions

The Monaco 2025 Motor Show for Cupra is yet another opportunity to suggest that the idea of ​​classical sportiness can be successfully distorted. TinDaya is 472 cm long, rests on wheels of 23 “and has a ratio between the passenger compartment and bodywork of one third to two thirds, with sides that are therefore imposing and enveloping, but also refined solutions such as the double passaruot that returns to lighten the overall image. Cupra has chosen a front with a shark muzzle flanked curvilinear shapes that direct the air flow towards the lateral sockets. Illuminated logo remains the least original idea in a joint of edges that leads to a large and horizontal hood surprisingly, enormous for current standards and inspired by the production of the seventies corvette.

Even more impressed the roofwith his central backbone that connects to the rear window and shows how much work did cupra on the suggestion of the surfaces, on the car not obvious in smooth surfaces. The portion of the bodywork above the wheel arches is covered with an environmentally friendly material reminiscent of the weaving of carbon fiber. In the queue the headlights seem to float, collected in an aluminum cage structure with clear shapes. The rear bumper and the diffuser at the bottom tell of the experience of competition cars. Tinder would be a successful style exercise overall and in particular, but it is actually the setting of proportions and solutions of the cupra that will come. Inevitably more aggressive and distinctive, says the Spanish brand.

Design: Evolved interiors

At the first glance, the seat hooking system cannot go unnoticed, connected laterally to the central tunnel and therefore float on the floor. The interiors of TinDaya present themselves in that technological key and a sporting together on which Cupra has been working for years. At the center of the design is the Axis drivera carved dashboard made with overlapping structural layers. The display has a diagonal of 24 ”, but the steering wheel inspired by the racing and the world of gaming stands out, with evident buttons.

There is the aesthetic of electronics and diving in the commands, with an interface of use now defined in detail. In addition to the projection band at the base of the windshield, which will presumably be destined to disappear, in the next series models we will find The Jewel, “The jewel”, a prism -shaped command in the center of the seats with three different selectable modes that progressively increase the involvement of the driver and position information in a different way from time to time depending on the guide mode. Everything suggests for Tinder and its heirs a future as an exclusively electric car, except for the surprises on which instead we can already bet.
