According to Rabbi Moshe Friedman, the ritual circumcisers who are being prosecuted by the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office for assault and battery and unlawful medicine are not being dealt with harshly enough. Friedman is filing a civil suit because his own children also underwent such circumcision and believes that the circumcisers should also be prosecuted for ‘sexual abuse of minors’. “Previously I only acted in the public interest, but now the file has become personal.”
