England’s international players put in a difficult performance against outsiders New Zealand in the friendly. The Bayern striker saved them with a header.

Harry Kane led England’s national football team to an arduous success in the penultimate World Cup test. Bayern Munich’s star striker scored the only goal for national coach Thomas Tuchel’s team in the lackluster 1-0 draw against World Cup participants New Zealand on Saturday in Tampa, Florida.

The former Bayern coach had a completely revamped team play after the half-time break, Kane remained in the dressing room after his header goal (45th + 2). Tuchel did without Arsenal professionals Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke, who lost the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain a week ago.

England will have its dress rehearsal for the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada on Wednesday (10 p.m./DAZN) against Costa Rica. In Group L we will face Croatia (June 17th), Ghana (June 23rd) and Panama (June 27th).
