A very large fire broke out in the storage of a company on Kapitein Nemostraat in Tilburg. The smoke development can be seen for miles around. The fire brigade is present in large numbers.
According to the Safety Region, the fire has already spread to another building and for the time being, efforts are being made to prevent even more surrounding buildings from catching fire. As far as is known, no people were present in the shed and there were no injuries.
Police have cordoned off the area as several explosions were observed during the fire. “So stay away from there! As interesting as it is, it can be dangerous and you may get in the way of the emergency services,” the police said on Twitter.
The Security Region calls on you to close windows and doors and turn off ventilation.
