Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was the highest-grossing film in American and Canadian cinemas this weekend with ticket sales of more than 60 million euros. The lightning-fast porcupine was thus a competitor Mufasa: the lion king past. That film, which also premiered last week, was good for ‘only’ 33.5 million euros in tickets.
