Ms Paris opens up about alcohol and cocaine escapades

On Saturday evening, the mega fight between boxing superstar Tyson Fury and his challenger Dillian Whyte. Ahead of the fight, Fury’s wife Paris has opened up about the crises in her husband’s life.

“I wanted to leave every day. I cried a lot. It happened several times that I had already loaded the car, the kids were already in it,” Paris Fury recalled the difficult time in 2016.

After Fury was able to win a furious victory against the previous world champion Wladimir Klitschko, he fell into a deep hole. The Brit suffered from depression and repeatedly indulged in alcohol and cocaine escapades.

Despite this, Paris stayed with her husband. “I couldn’t see him crash and burn out,” said the 32-year-old.

Tyson and Paris met when they were 15 and 16, respectively. The two now have six children. However, the boxing champion does not have much time for his family.

Most recently, Fury is said to have been in the training camp for ten weeks to prepare for the fight against Whyte. After that it should be over.

“Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve always said: ‘I’m going to be the heavyweight world champion’ and you know what, I made it,” Fury recently revealed in an interview with “talkSPORT”. “It was a fantastic journey and not only went steeply uphill, there were ups and downs” and now he will say goodbye forever, the “Gypsy King” continues to surprise.

When asked, Fury confirmed: “That was it!” and continues singing, based on a classic by the band The Doors: “This is the End”.

Is Fury missing out on a historic opportunity?

The historic opportunity to compete against Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua in a fight longed for by the boxing world and to unite all the world championship belts of the important associations obviously no longer appeals to Fury. “I’ve won every belt, I’ve broken every record. […] I’m leaving in one piece, I’m unbeaten,” Fury said.

At the beginning of March, Fury said Whyte would be his last opponent. In 2016, the scandal-ridden Brit tweeted, “Boxing is the saddest thing I’ve ever done,” announcing his retirement but moving on.

The fact that Fury really doesn’t take the chance to become champion of all associations doesn’t suit his appearance at least.
