Mr. Marvis is driving expansion

Dutch trousers brand Mr. Mavis is opening a new store in Haarlem and plans to open three more branches.

The slow fashion label announced the opening of a new store on Zijlstraat in Haarlem last week. The first Mr. Marivs store opened in 2020 in Amsterdam its doors, followed by further stores in Antwerp, The Hague, Laren, Munich and Maastricht.

With the new store in Haarlem and upcoming openings in Arnhem, Knokke and Ghent, the trousers brand will operate ten retail stores this year. The label’s expansion strategy “is in line with customer needs,” says the statement. The brand has noticed that many of its customers prefer a physical shopping experience.

“We are proud to announce that we will soon open the tenth Mr. Marvis shop,” says co-founder Steven Vrendenbarg. “We have evolved from a purely online player to a brand with stores in the most beautiful cities. Our business is running “Good and we hear from our customers that they appreciate it. In the coming years we will continue to open stores at home and abroad so that we are closer to our – potential – customers.”

The brand plans to double its retail network and wants to open a total of 25 Mr. Marvis stores by the end of 2025, focusing primarily on the key markets of the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Great Britain. The D2C label also has one in March 2023 B Corp Certification receive.
